If Sony doesn't show 2 exclusive game surprises(which they won't because Project beast was already leaked) MS will be ahead.

What surprises did MS have apart from indies? Phantom Dust was heavily speculated since yesterday only, so this might count as well. Everything else was already leaked by ntkrl on Neogaf earlier this year, practically all the line up.

There was a strong rumor about a japanese game but it was never known what it will be. So I count Scalebound as a surprise with bonus for looking awesome. I haven't seen a rumor for a Crackdown reboot so I'll count that too as a surprise even though it's not a new IP.

Crackdown 3 and Project Nagano (Platinum Games) were both leaked by ntkrl.

Apparently not to me. So they were surprises to me. Sony just can't win this because I know a lot more about their upcoming game. If they don't have some kind of megaton they will lose the surprise game at least for me.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Still waiting for Sony before verdict.

actually we knew that it was a game made by platinum so yeah the surprise effect wasnt the greatest of them all, sadly Project Beast will suffer the same fate later today, but who cares both games look great. (well actually we still have to see gameplay from Scalebound but its being made by platinum so it HAS to be good).

Halo 5 was expected to do its job.

I agree that MS's conference was good, but not great. However, I'm not so sure Sony will do any better. A lot of their big titles have already been leaked or heavily rumored. What would be a realistic megaton announcement that would be a complete surprise to people?

Crash

The Last Guardian

Shenmue 3

UC4 Gameplay > SO gameplay.

Theres a metric shitton of unannounced Sony projects from key developers, so I'm not sure what you're talking about here.

1 megaton. That's all Sony needs to "beat" MSs conference. If they only show a bunch of multiplats or games we've already seen, then the conferences would just be a tie. But 1 megaton would make Sony E3 > MS E3. I mean....MSs biggest announcement was the Halo collection. Even if it wasn't leaked, it still isn't a big deal. It's a collection of old games. Old games the people on this very forum have all played already. You really gonna drop $400 to play them again....when you probably still have Halo 3 and 4 on your 360?

Announce GTA6 with exlcusive content, like MS did with GTA4, or Red Dead with exclusive content. Announce a new IP from one of your reputable devs. Scalebound may look good (albeit it was just a CGI trailer) but Platinum Games' biggest game only sold 2M total multiplat, so while that's good, it isn't "huge". Something from Media Molecule or Guerilla Games (not Killzone) would blow Scalebound out the water, in terms of relevance. That's all they'd need to win this year

I am wondering why Sony's E3 is cinema worthy. Are they really going to announce a lot of megatons?!

THANK YOU! This, this right here. I'll make sure to let you know if it was Cinema worthy when I get back from the Theater with my buddies! xD

Please do! I wish they did something like that here in the Netherlands.. Have fun with your friends!
