is he going to be the designer for this new project? his game designing is not very impressive...

i hope he is only directing the game

Ocarina of Time and Mario Galaxy say hi.

1998 and 2007....

after galaxy we had wii fit, wii music, and steel driver...

the time from OoT and MG we had...

Pacman Vs.

yeah not very impressive for me...

You have to realize that those are two of the highest rated games of all time.

it is great but consistently? i dont think so... especially his recent designs

First off people need to understand something, Miyamoto is the head of ALL software development at EAD. He is the General Manager of EAD. That's actually his official title.

So every E3 he brings his new projects to the show, this year is not any different from any other year.

I think people are assuming this is going to be his personal project like Pikmin was. Even if he resides over every project created by EAD, so does Iwata. We don't consider every new game with Iwata's name in the credits to be his "new project."

^ Yeah, that's the impression I got as well.

If it's even half as good as Pikmin was, I'm there.

Apparently major gaming news sites are confirming Star Fox has been announced for Wii U. They are not naming the source but Joystiq and Nintendo Live have confirmed it.
