Actually, wii is already above ps4 in aligned (and non aligned) sales. And the gap will still increase a lot.

I don't think it works out that way. The Wii changed the demographics of last gen, many hardcore gamers held out or bought a Wii and that didn't deliver. Also XBox  is still in the mix. We have no idea how the this gen will pan out but it's definitely not a linear correlation as you make it out to be. Look at the Wii. Fastest selling console after 3 years, and then died out quick.

bolded: 4 years+ isn't quickly. even 2010, wich was the satr of wii's decline, still sold quite more than ps360's best years.

I can see it top PS3 (not likely though) but not much more.

I think it can but it depends on how long it lasts. If it's still getting games eight to ten years from now then it could beat the PS2.

One country could make it easy though. China

Nope. I think the PS4 will end up roughly with the same sales as the PSX!

Thats why I said a little lower. 160 millon this gen instead of 200 million in the 6th.  Regardless the PS4 will be lucky to get half the sales of the PS2vand this is coming form someone who loves the system and has had one since day one.

Good good... PS4 have finally sold 10,000,000.
VGChartz have underestimated the real PS4 sales for much time...
By end of year PS4 will easy pass 17,500,000, much more than how my i have predict... I'm again convinced of my prediction.

Wouldn't Sony have made a big to do about it finally hitting 10M sold? I doubt that its at 10M, it may be near 10M but I think to say that it is currently at 10M is jumping the gun. I also cannot see another 7.5M PS4s by the end of the year.

Sony have confirmed 10,000,000 of PS4, and 1,500,000 TLOU R...

So, if have sold 10,000,000, have sold for now 6,600,000 this year.

Really you don't thin that PS4 will sell other 7,500,000 with Destiny bundle, and chrismas?
