PS3 owners as well as X360 owners already years of entertainment playing games. Before PS4 and X1 launched the major thing people complained about was the length of last gen and doom to the industry. Now it's time for the media, gamers and devs themselves to grow a pair of balls like RockSteady and CD Projekt Red and develope exclusive games for this current gen only!  Enough of the baby hand holding for the cheapos that didn't buy a PS3/X360 in the last 8-9 years or who don't want to upgrade. The new games will still be apart of the library when they finally do upgrade..

Nobody cares about FFXV. Also it's SE. They can do whatever they want, they're not tied to any platform and nobody understands them anyway. And FFXIII versus was canceled for PS3 :P

TLG however was promised by Sony themselves for PS3. They're the platform holders. If they promise games for their platform they should stick to it.

That's a great marketing move. Sony should use that as their motto. Also with a nice little "Fuck You PS3 owners" on the side.

I'm expecting Sony to show this game during the E3... With all expectations arround it it would be a really bad move.

I have to disagree, people care about FFXV, in fact it's almost guaranteed to outsell TLG by a significant amount.

And Sony promised, sure but that wouldn't be the first promise they break, at this point making this a fullfledged PS4 exclusive just seems smarter to me.

Well it's just my opinion. I don't even have a PS4 yet as I am still a current PS3 owner waiting to clear my backlog and play Xillia 2 this summer. However, when I do get a PS4 I want to play the best possible version of the last guardian or any other exclusive from Sony. The PS3 is the reason why this game was delayed for so many years to begin with. Even if it's released on PS3 it's likely not gonna look that great.

Probably a huge % of MS fans would feel the same way about Halo 5 if that was released on X360. Their fans of the franchise itself and want the best possible product in current time. I'm not interested in discussing 2008 graphics and gameplay on a AAA hyped game.

Just to be clear I'm not advocating a PS3 version. I couldn't care less if it suddenly was 3DS exclusive. All I'm saying is that if it's just for one platform the announcement will not be met with universal praise. I think making it PS4 exclusive would be an even bigger deal than making it PS3 exclusive. The only right way is to release it to both. An awesome move would be to also release it to Vita.
