Fair enough, I understand that. I've got no reason to disbelieve you considering your 100% record with sales 'ratios'.
The PS5 Exists.

And why exactly is there a huge difference? Almost every Wii U game can be played without the GamePad, after all. Dropping it would block you off to a handful of games at best, and so you wouldn't lose too much if you sell it seperately. A Wii U for £150 ($200) with no GamePad would fly off the shelves. I could guarantee that. No doubt Nintendo have figured that out too, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. |
Safe money is on a Nintendo handheld with 1 screen and removable control options. Could be part if the 3DS family, or not. This is also likely the subject of the profit's one less screen/169 hint from the e3 thread.

how about future games that'll need it 100%? Also the NFC scanner on the gamepad? Will they risk taking out something before inputing a potential system seller? |
What about said "future games"? You can still buy the GamePad if you want. As with future Kinect titles; removing it from the bundle drops the price and sells it to people who want to play these games/get the full experience. Could probably make more money than a bundle too.
Just because you're not adding the GamePad in every console, doesn't mean you're not getting games for it or losing anything. It's just more variety and more choice for the consumer. And at the end of the day, isn't that what people want? Because then you get more sales, which is good news for all!

Could this not also apply to my suggestion of a Wii U without the GamePad?
Just sayin'

I really dont. Honestly usually Im not this vague and theres even a chance (though small) this is some sort of new hardware bundle.
All i know is theres gonna be a new hardware announcement of some sort. Its locked down what it is though.
This will probably be Sony's Morpheus or Nintendo's next handheld. I don't think there is anything else that could fit, if the thing has its own accessories, and its coming out on 2014, since the QoL platform should be coming out in 2015, and a small hardware revision wouldn't need new accessories, unless it was a big difference, like 3DS and 3DS XL.
Edit: Oh so it could also be a new hardware bundle :/ well that toughens things up a bit, since it could be anything now, from a new 3DS bundle to revive sales or a SSB one, or a Wii U SSB bundle for Christmas, or a PS4 + Vita bundle, or PS4 with Morpheus :/
COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).
-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

For sure, and that was part of my guess to the profit. However, the more I think about it, the more I think a padless Wii U is unlikely at this time. I think Nintendo will do the opposite and give it one last push at e3 with new titles like Mario Maker and new features like the quick start menu.
