first of all, this argument started about FPS games, so its all about FPS games. a genre which Bungie changed and revolutionized. something Retro didnt even come close to doing. your opinion doesnt matter when we are talking about facts.

What? Bungie comitted to Destiny for 10 years so you better put a lot of hours into it!

you only go up against other groups in pvp as far as i know theres no random pvp encounters.  plus i think i heard that once you finish a mission your brought back to your ship

Saw a video on Vimeo. So bland, so generic from a gameplay perspective. This is really the game they have been imagining since Halo 2?

Voice acting might have been the worst.

not from the develpoer interview i read.  they likened the pvp system to that of journey.  silent matchmaking in the background putting people randomly together.  you are able to ignore them or interact with them as you choose.  they said you are free to play it single player and remain unmolested but if you decide to pary up then you'll start also seeing encounters with other groups.  some of them can be competive (pvp) but they can also be races to be the group to finish pve objectives like a giant boss battle and you want to be the one to kill and control the area to grab the loot. 

again, i really think this game is going to be amazing. i don't think the leaks do justice to how they have described the gameplay.  so long as the descriptions they have provided are truthful the game is going to be amazing. people are, imo, just failing to grasp the concepts because they are so new and revolutionary.

Destiny will be HUGE

Not because it's Bungie. but because its not competing with WoW on the MMO front. I had the same hype with Tabula Rasa ( you could say Destiny is a insanely better looking TR, but gameplay so far looks alike ). TB was goddamn brilliant, but just didn't attracted enough peeps to be viable.
Enemies and heroes have similair visuals as well known videogame races.

edit even the story looks similair ADD MORE HYPE

Console FPS games are inferior to PC FPS. That's a fact. ;)

As if the genre of FPS would be any different today without Halo. Not really...
