More logistics restructuring, like the closure of Nintendo Taiwan. The kind of nuts-and-bolts thing that won't fix the bigger problems with their business model, but will still smooth things out a bit.

At least the unemployed are all likely to be Germans, they'll do better finding new employment than folks in other Nintendo-operating countries (aside from NCL)

It's sarcasm.  I'm using Nintendo instead of EA.  But if you want an example, they did hire people specifically for Kid Icarus Uprising them and fired them all as soon as it was completed.  *edit*  Laid off actually, not fired.
