I worded it badly. Yes the Wiiu is next gen but I wanted to compare the next gen consoles that launched alongside each other.

Bought a Wii U at launch. Leaning towards the Xbone as a second console down the line, but the games I'm most interested in are all going to other platforms, so it's looking more like a tie.
