Before Sep 2011 only the core team was working on it, the project was put on hold so many times ( mainly due to XIII spin-offs and the disaster XIV turned out to be at launch ) SE didn't take the project seriously for is was not meant to be a main FF title. I wouldn't call the management mess a " 10 year development cycle ".

The bright side is that this is more or less the same kind of environment that the original FF was spawned in.

If FFXV and KH3 don't take off SE will be a shell of its former self and become a white dwarf.

What are they thinking? KH3 not being the focus is ok because the game is far away but what about FF 15? It makes it seem like either FF 15 will still take long to release or it will release soon without being properly shown to fans. both options are bad. let´s just hope this is only meant to mislead now and surprise later.

Just shows how confident they are in their own product. Pay attention to the Witcher 3 SE, because it'll trump any dressed up piece of shit you release.
