I thought about that before I posted, but when you think about it, even if people then argue, 'but these are shipped' numbers, most level headed people would extrapolate that they must have sold over 8 million.

I'm more inclined to believe they'll just release the sold through figure. I was just throwing that out there as a 'possibility'.

The reason they might do it is to offset any 'shipped' figures MS release. Many sites just used the shipped figures MS gave them to claim the gap was only 2 million. They couldn't do that if Sony also released shipped figures ;)

Because NPD and Media Create are clearly showing the PS4 is outselling the XB1, those sites simply couldn't pretend that Sony's shipped figures contain higher 'unsold' console numbers than MSs. They would have to either NOT extrapolate, or tell the truth. It checkmates BS.

The PS5 Exists.

Nice PS4 numbers and Amazing Wii U numbers. Wii U got what it needed clearly. Not sure what happened to Xbox One though, maybe people are waiting for the cheaper model now

Crazy PS4 sales. It looks like Watchdogs is the game that people were waiting for to upgrade to the new generation. MS should have timed the price drop with Watchdogs, they missed out on a lot of potential sales.

Hopefully the Wii U can maintain some momentum,

Why should PS4 be on top instead of Wii U? No worthwhile exclusives atm. Also, Vita is a nice companion. XD

OT: Hope Wii U numbers stagnate at a higher number than before.

Wii U - 25m

Not confirmed, it depends on the release date in Japan, if it comes this summe/september, we have a change to get it 3 months later like their last game. They would be clever to benefit of this lack of exclusives this fall
