Im aware of that ''blog'' and ''blogger''

Top rated comment ''Bill, with your libel against Microsoft for the Machinima advertising program and your failure to issue a formal apology for your libel after it was proven that you lied, you lost all credibility as a journalist.

When you later used infanticide to push your biased agenda against Microsoft, I lost all respect for you.

Now you are trivializing the murder of nearly 3000 people via the 9/11 terrorist attacks ("It looks like Microsoft pissed off more of their own fanbase than Osama Bin Laden pissed off Americans back in 2001"), and likewise trivializing the genocide of 3-6 million Jews during the Holocaust ("like Yiddish Jews emerging from the sewers where they hid in Poland during World War II") just to push your biases.
''

The ''writer'' is a proven fanboy. Just google his name William Usher.

Agenda confirmed.

Jesus i think thats insulting to fanboys, he sounds like a total dick.

The guy isn't even a Sony fan (not that you have to be to dislike MS), he's just very anti MS for some reason.

I knew this was written by William Usher before I even clicked the link.

He's a Nintendo Fan. Sony is just harder to critize ATM, but I highly doubt he's an apologist for any of the big 3.

Shit, MS might as well pack it up. Without those 732 sales from readers of "DealNews", the gen is all but lost already. brb going to sell my xbone for a PC, apparently this survey says its the best.

Funny, because apparently, on a population of 80M (Xbox 360 userbase), you only need a sample size of 385 to be within a 5% margin of error. The survey sample size in the OP is almost 2.5x larger than what's needed to be within a good MoE on the population of what the 360 is at.

http://www.calculator.net/sample-size-calculator.html?type=1&cl=95&ci=5&ps=80000000&x=0&y=0

I always love it when people see statistics they don't like then sarcastically say "they only surveyed X amount of people" as if you need some exorbitant amount of people to have an accurate statistic. Do you know that Gallup, the company that tracks presidential elections, "only" uses a sample size of about 2,800, which accounts for the opinions of the the little under 200M registered voters (actual voter turnout was 126M in 2012) and is at a 2% margin of error? Guess their numbers are bogus because they didn't survey 100,000 people, right?

Those stats are horrid. But as someone else pointed out, it was with less that 1000 gamers surveyed, so yeh.

As I explained to LudicrousSpeed, 927 is more than adequate for an accurate survey. Population of 80M only needs 385 responses to be within 5% margin of error. Gallup "only" uses 2800 responses to gauge the opinions of 200M people and they're within 2% margin of error.

yeah, but gallup uses a random sampling, this wasn't a random sampling.  still, people complaining about the amount of people surveyed don't know anything about statistics...

That's all I'm getting at

I'm happy that microsoft made their reversals but I'm not buying an xbone. But then, I'm not buying a ps4 either. My friend bought a ps4, I saw it and I was thoroughly unimpressed. This gen just isn't doing anything for me right now.
