I believe Xbox will come out on top because the majority of the sales come from NA and I'm sure Xbox will close the gap or even surpassed ps4 by november. Microsoft also have advertisement advantage on their hand. That said, the gap between the two will be much closer than it was last gen.

hehehehehe........

People really think that the only reason that the PS4 is selling better than the XB1 in NA is due to price.

Because that pretty much IS the reason, plus most M$ fans were still content with their 360s during last holiday season since just about every major 3rd party title was released on it.

What's funny about this thread though is that all last gen we heard how the 360 was the dumb "shooter box" for the "dudebro" gamers, and COD was the biggest love-to-hate-it offender of the bunch, while the PS3 was the real gamer's choice and was all about the 1st party exclusives.  Fast forward to today, and my how the tables have turned...

3 out of the top 5 best selling PS4 games are FPS, only one of the top 5 is an exclusive, and look who's leading the way at #1.  Now all of a sudden COD is awesome again because it's selling more on Sony's console than it is on M$'s.

In any event, I think for the next COD the X1 version will edge out the PS4 version in sales, but Destiny will sell more on PS4 and be the biggest title of the fall for the console (and surprise, it's another FPS!)

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Hmmm, how does that MS PR cool-aid taste? It makes this easy when you use or make certain excuses to validate your opinion that could be used right back at you.... ie; Wasn't "just about every major 3rd party title" released on the PS3 too? But wait, I can do better!!!!!!

MS had no first party exclusive for the 360 last holiday season. Forza, Rise and KI were which were there main exclusives for the holiday season and all exclusive to the XBO. Sony had GT6, Beyond and TLoU all exclusive to the PS3 in last half of last year meaning that (by your reasoning of course) sony fans had even fewer reasons to move onto the new gen. Oh and this is in addition to the just about every third party game you mentioned, yet you think the only reason people are buying the PS4 is cause of price.

Do you know that in the month of march when titanfall was released, arguably the most hyped game this year second only to WD, that it cost less buying an XBO than it did buying a PS4? $450 for titanfall and the XBO, yet lok how that turned out. Price isn't the reason, it adds to it... but its not the only reason. There are quite a few more reasons.

But what do I know, lets see how things go by the end of the year. Oh, you do realize that this entire argument is basically talking about XBO taking NA back from sony right? No point bringing europe into this discussion.

This is the real battleground, isn't it? Forget Titanfall, forget Infamous, this is where the future will be decided. Playstations fans have chosen Playstation, Xbox fans have chosen Xbox. CoD fans? We shall see.

Personally, I think the average CoD fan won't simply be loyal to a particular brand but will go to where the perceived advantages are. That might mean the superior horsepower of the PS4 or the ease-of-use associated with existing friends lists and achievements. I honestly do not know how CoD casuals think. They're like a different species for me.

All I can say for sure is that they'll go further in deciding the "console war" than all us core types.

My prevision for COD AD is:
6,000,000 on XBOX 360
5,000,000 on PS3
5,000,000 on PS4
4,000,000 on XO
700,000 on PC
300,000 on Wii U.

So, i think 10milion XBOX VS 10m PlayStation

the kinect-less sku isnt  gonna have the kind of effect your thinking...  infact, even if the kinectless sku sold 187k units its first week in america, it would still need an average of 18k a week more than the ps4 to pull even by november.

simply getting rid of the kinect isnt going to pull in those numbers...   they need something else..   to do it in your time frame is not going to happen.

I look forward to your reaction when Microsoft announces that they're leaving the console space.

Definitely Playstation, PS4 still has a ton of momentum going forward and 7th gen sales are drying up fast.
