I guess that is true, but the numbers will have to be huge in the West in order to compensate for the terrible Japanese numbers.
Are you serious, though? Japan got no type of bundle?

Home consoles sell so badly in Japan. I fully expect Wii U to break 100000 for the week, mostly thanks to America.

Naive much? I expect like 40-45k in NA for WiiU. |
I said IF have sold like in UK...
However, i think 75,000 for Wii U in NA, and 60,000 in Europe.

I read on MCV that 82% was the amount of CONSOLES that came in the MK8 bundle out of the total number of consoles sold.
Not the game. Otherwise the game would have been a terrible flop.

Bets with Conegamer:
Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

EDIT: Ninja'd so hard. |
LOL
Considering the UK is a slow market for Nintendo (at least for the last 6 years) and WiiU increased 666% it is possible....
120% JP
666% UK
considering an average increase of 250% WW it could....
it will be close to PS4 I guess
Switch!!!

Nah, My prediction is a bundle for the holiday, Wii Party U+NSMBU bundle did extremely well during Nov+Dec, so a MK8 would be much better imo.
Even though i will say WiiU sales are very disappointing, i need to point out that i think a huge part of that is because its too expensive. Its the only region where it never had a price cut either (like everywhere else in Sept), and ever since that tax increase last month sales overall have plummeted :'-(
Sad day for japan in general despite MK8 gooc sales, hopefully MK8 can do 70-80k next week

Would anyone like to join me in some crow stew? I made a ton for myself, but I have enough for a small town and I feel like a lot of you are starting to feel just as hungry.

Wow, NoJ is seriously incompetant. So, they haven't cut the price of the Wii U, released a MK8 bundle, nor even release the 2DS. They really need to step up their game.
