Didn't know there was one, because when I type "Media Create" into Google on a Friday the actual website is all that shows up, and I figure it's better posting some Google-translated numbers than posting nothing at all :P

Don't think you added right then. This is why I use the Media Share articles on VGC.

for 2014 the number was 714k (http://www.vgchartz.com/yearly/2014/Global/ - last weeks 187k). You gave 745.8k. Too lazy to add up 2013, but if you messed up 2014, you likely messed up 2013.

Kinda odd how different pages on VGC have different numbers. In the Media Share article WiiU is at 1,016k, bit in the link above it's only 900k.

I added correctly based on VGC totals.  The number you give is for 20 weeks.  What I didn't notice is that VGC numbers are broken.  For the week ending Jan 4, 2014 the Wii U sold 116,962 according to VGC.  However total sales only went up 33,497 that week.  Not sure if there are other errors like this on more dates.

Humorously enough sales of the 3DS actually drop by about 1.2m despite it selling over 400k.  It seems ioi has just been making adjustments to the total rather than actually accounting for it weekly.

If you go to the platform totals, every console has a higher number then it should. Stuff like Wii are 500k higher then the total on the weekly updates.

This is why for the large, I've left VGC. Bret (ioi) is letting this website rot in favor of Gamewise.
