Nintendo 3DS rhythm action spin-off Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call launches on 19th September 2014 (in Europe: NA is September 16th), Square Enix has announced.

Two special editions will be released. The Limited Edition includes a five-track music CD and is available to those who pre-order.

The £44.99 Collector's Edition is sold from the Square Enix store. It includes a 3DS Collector's Pouch, the CD from the Limited Edition, a 20-track The Best of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call CD, and set of five cards based on the Collect a Card designs of the game. You can enter the password on the card into the game to get the in-game version.

 

 

I'm excited. I liked the first one, and look forward to the improvements in the second one.

I feel like I need to play way more FF games before I can play these so it will probably be a long time until I touch this :/

Alternatively, you could play this game instead of the others, as the music's the only consistently good thing about the series. Win-win!

Well the only thing I've played so far is the first 10 hours of FFVII haha. I still have a few more that I would like to play (VI, VIII and X maybe?)

If you want one, better order sooner rather than later: word is there will only be 5,000 of these printed for North America. Which sounds...odd.

I'm alllllll over it. The original is still my favorite 3DS title, and there's no way I can go without the 2nd.
