No because the friends I do play video games with, don't have any console allegiances.

My gf converted me from a Nintendo fan to a Sony fan. I still love Nintendo, but I love PS more now. I hated PS for the longest time too XD it also kinda back fired on her since she plays WRPGs and FPSs and I play JRPGs and action/adventure games on it, so... we still argue about which game types are better a lot. Only games me and her both like are Pokemon and... yeah, thats it XD :P

It doesn't have to be an allegiance it could be just that they have only gamed on one system for their life.
Yeah. My kid brother bought a 360. When it red ringed i convinced to buy a ps3 instead of another 360 by telling him how the online was free and that there was a low chance it would break compared to if he got a new 360.
Yes.
Being the "gamer nerd" out of all my friends, I am always the first one to get a new console.
Whatever I end up with my friends slowly follow one by one since the N64 days.
It was funny switching them all from Gamecube to Xbox360 and now back to PS4.

Man when I get married I hope I have a wife that loves video games like me. We'll argue about them until the sun comes up lmao jk.
I was a big Ninty fan back in the day, and I convinced a friend who was a big SEGA fan at the time to not pick up the Saturn when it first came out and instead to wait it out and eventually pick up an N64 at launch. Smart move.
A gen later the opposite happened... we both picked up a GC at launch, but shortly after he also got a PS2 for GTAIII... a year later he convinced me to picked up a PS2 as well because other than Smash Bros we mostly played his PS2, and I was also given a copy of GTA Vice City the following X-mas by a family member who thought I already owned a PS2, so that made the decision all the more easier.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

As far as I know most my more casual friends went from PS2 to 360/Wii and now are going PS4, so those ones just go with the flow on whatever is popular. Others are mostly PC gamers that might pick up a console or two in a generation or skip out entirely and the rest are ones who buy all the consoles. So as far as I know, none of them fit your criteria. With that being said I do know a guy who absolutely refuses to buy any PS console but he's not my friend so he doesn't count
