I think this hits the nail on the head. The cheapest you're looking at in store for most Vita games, even pre-owned is generally around £20 here, while the digital store can often have prices a hell of a lot cheaper. If you look at GAME for instance, their pre-owned copies (obviously this wouldn't count towards sales either) of AC3:L are £15, which is still more expensive than the digital copy. Vita thrives on digital, which is why physical always looks to be such a small amount IMO.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention too that the 20euros AC3:L in gamestop was indeed second hand so you're getting a copy of the game which is used for double that of the digital cost during the sale anyway.

Right now that May madness sale which is going on some of the stuff on there is stupid low pricing

All those prices are Euro btw and that sale continues until the 5th of june if people have been neglecting their Vitas I would advise checking the store in the next week if you fancy a bargain.

That's just a few of the things which stand out to me, but there is about 20 more psone and psp games on offer there for pocket change really, gamestop even pre owned stuff doesn't come near these kinda pricing for the convience of having it on your vita all the time (providing you have shelled out enough for a decent sized memory card to begin with ofc)

Should also point out in terms of million sellers, that Minecraft Vita edition is coming to the Vita in August or there abouts, given that the people who bought it on the ps3 already are being gifted a copy for either free or 5euros I'm not sure which it was that will sail over the 1million mark but not a single copy will register on vgchartz since it's digital only.

Well, to be honest, Vita's last chance for me already passed (last year Gamescom) and to be honest a lot of games that I would have bought only released in Japan. And with my decline in gaming interest until I finally can get a PS4 I sold the system. I might re-purchase a Vita if they take some great steps during E3

In an official statement from Atlus (end 2013) they said that they shipped 700k copies. It depends how it did during the last of 5 months.

Great example. I've been wanting to buy that game since it came out and finally decided to buy it when it dropped to 8euro. 

I have around 10 retail copies and more than 40 digital games exluding ps+ games. Almost every single game I can think of costs more at retail. Dragon Ball Battle of Z is another example. £12 on psn and more than £20 in retail.

Call of duty and Littlebigplanet would probably doing over 1 million



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I bought both ACIII:L and LBPV digital. Not now for 8 Euro, but shortly after they were released - so you may add +1 to the sales of both ;)



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
