It seems pretty likely. King had 1,884m in revenue last year and 606m in the first quarter of this year. If Candy Crush is actually 2/3 of revenue as the article says then it has made 1,643m in the past five quarters. Add in the 1.5+ years it was on facebook and the launch on ios/android back in 2012 and it is probably a decent amount higher. Mario Kart Wii has shipped 35.53m as of March 2014. At $50 a game it would be at 1,776.5m, but Nintendo doesn't get that much per unit (at least in the US), and quite a few million of those copies were bundled.
It also looks like King beat Nintendo's software revenue by a pretty huge margin last quarter. They were about 43% higher.
