Forums - Sony - Sony should have a monstrous 2015

Problem is, Kaz probably has zero input into the contents of E3. If Sony arent ready to show off their 1st party games then theres nothing anyone can do about it.

And 3rd party exclusives are super rare these days.

But yeah it would be a good idea to try and continue the dominance.

He would have input for a price cut or money hatting some exclusives ;)

It's annoying how the PS4 will have such as beasty lineup for 2015, but its 2014 lineup has been paltry. The PS4 will be getting another exclusive (well, PS3 and PS4 only) this year, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-. Won't set sales charts ablaze, but it's something at least. Otherwise, meh. I guess Destiny will help boost the PS4 for the fall season.

And don't forget Amplitude will be released on the PS4, too. The original game was a blast and adding a rhythm game to the PS4's lineup helps mix things up a bit.

The PS4 will probably start hitting it's stride in 2015. It's going to be amazing!

I'm not sure about that. The thing is, Sony might not feel the need to go all out at E3. Microsoft and Nintendo, they need to generate buzz badly, but Sony might get complacent. I hope not, as that's a good way to squander what they've built so far. Console manufacturers, however, have a long standing tradition of strangling themselves with their own hubris, so we'll just have to wait and see.

If we believe Kaz, Sony is striving for absolute dominance instead of just being mere sales leader. So I expect them to bring their A-game this E3.

Microsoft proved last gen and this gen that third party exclusives are not rare at the beginning of a generation as long as a company is majorly compensated. Titanfall, Dead Rising 3 or Sunset Overdrive. This includes having third party make their first party such as Killer Instinct and Ryse.

Sony needs to hire Jack Tretton back so he can say this every single year for four years when the PS4 actually starts hitting its stride :P.

A bit sooner than later mid-late. Sony first party usually comes out with their first bath after the first two years. The first Uncharted came out in 2007 and went under the radar while the world jumped on the other games later. That first party is no joke. Even the sleeper titles shouldn't be underestimated.

Meh

Sorry for my english.

Bye.

I'm not talking to you. I'm not social on this website. Sorry.

Three of those games aren't announced, and TLG is vapourware by this point.

I think Sony need a very strong E3 showing this year, because at the moment there's pretty much nothing concrete on the horizon.
