I'm not sure about that. The thing is, Sony might not feel the need to go all out at E3. Microsoft and Nintendo, they need to generate buzz badly, but Sony might get complacent. I hope not, as that's a good way to squander what they've built so far. Console manufacturers, however, have a long standing tradition of strangling themselves with their own hubris, so we'll just have to wait and see.

If we believe Kaz, Sony is striving for absolute dominance instead of just being mere sales leader. So I expect them to bring their A-game this E3.

Problem is, Kaz probably has zero input into the contents of E3. If Sony arent ready to show off their 1st party games then theres nothing anyone can do about it.

And 3rd party exclusives are super rare these days.

But yeah it would be a good idea to try and continue the dominance.

Microsoft proved last gen and this gen that third party exclusives are not rare at the beginning of a generation as long as a company is majorly compensated. Titanfall, Dead Rising 3 or Sunset Overdrive. This includes having third party make their first party such as Killer Instinct and Ryse.
