Pretty impressive sales then, considering Ubi's past output. Nice to see a new IP off to a good start, shows other companies that people want something new just as much as Call of Assassin's Need for Speed 316...

Impressive sales, so between 2-4 million first week, could be epic. Surprised that it might not be shifting that much console stock... but was the bundle exclusive to Amazon or available everywhere?

I doubt they'd make it annual in the holidays, because of Assassin's Creed and Far Cry every now and then. Annual Watch Dogs in Q2 seems more likely IMO.

Don't you think AC will get seriously tired after we'll get 2 AC's this year, AC Comet's HD port for PS4/XB1 early next year and another AC(5) during holiday's 2015? I think it will, people are already burned out on the series and even though AC4 probably extended the life of the series as it was a really good game, and changing things a bit, so unless Unity shakes the formula and we're not just back to Ezio just in France, they will need to put AC on a back burner.

Watch Dogs is definitely the best candidate they have to be the commercial successor to AC.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

The real question this brings up is how will Ubisoft get another 500 people or so to be able to crank it out annually.
