I don't even think that's going to do it. It's a much worse value than the Xbox One with a game & a much worse value than PS4 is, even.

 My brother in Ireland is getting one, as is my sister. In a country where everyone owns at least 2 consoles, I'm not sure if its' encouraging to hear of 2 sales though. My sister has a Wii, PSvita, xbox 360, ps3 and 3DS and is choosing the xb1 as her first current gen console of choice.

In the UK we usually refer to the rest of Europe as either mainland or contintental Europe. That should still include other islands like Corsica or Sicily though.

It's not a good situation at all and the Kinect-less SKU doesn't offer that much value. Halo 5 will provide a boost, but will the Europeans really wait over a year just to buy the Xbox One for one game? Plus, the vast majority of sales of the Halo series come from the United States.

They need to turn it around at E3. Sony's exclusive game track record speaks for itself. They do not have to worry about going overboard selling their exclusives as MS has never even come remotely close in terms of quality / quantity and everyone knows it. That being said DR3, KI, and Titanfall are all amazing games. I like the PS4 more but my X1 is certainly not picking up dust. I bet after price drop, Halo info, and any E3 surprises, sales will pick up globally. They made the right decision with the initial 180's and they did it again dropping Kinect, IMO. Can't fault them for righting the ship.

 

/EDIT:  Also, as more time passes people will begin to forget the absolutely HORRIBLE initial PR decisions MS made.  Let's not forget that was only what 8 or 9 months ago.
