Rainbow Road from MK64 was only fun in multiplayer cuz everyone would try to get the cheap jump to win. That's the only reason why. Otherwise, no one cared about it so I hope the one for MK8 is better.

Suposedly the retro rainbow track is 10x better than the MK8 one.
That's what you get when you put two rainbows together... one of them shines less.

Heh, I liked Rainbow Road on N64 and probably will still like it better than the Mario Kart 8 version because of the 1 lap thing which kind of ruins it, but who knows, maybe I'll get swayed. I liked how it was the perfect 'encore' to the whole game, a long, calm track with epic music as a nice salut to end the game.

Anyway, that list in the thread you posted is bad anyway. Waluigi Pinball? Really?

I just saw video of Mario Kart 8 Rainbow Road Track.

Mario Kart 8 rainbow track is much much much better then Nintendo 64 track.

Nintendo 64 Rainbow Track was one of the weakest tracks in Mario kart 64.

It was very boring and very long.

Mario Kart 8 rainbow track corrected all those mistakes.

The track is at much more reasonable length

And it's looks much more fun and interesting

They added many thing that makes this track much better then the original.

Compared to the original, the design of MK8's version is  godly.
