On each side of the consoles many agree that there will be some very nice "Surprises" at E3. Although mainly it's people talking about sequels to Ip's used just last generation. Honestly I want something really surprising, something I doubt would've ever happened, something that will make me shit my pants. Ok maybe that last one was overexaggerating but still. These are the types of surprises I want.
Black and white artstyle for Zelda U- No I don't mean old fashioned Tv black and white I mean pencil and paper. Aonuma said he want's to do a completely new artstyle and this seems like a possibility. People will jump on me saying, "The Legend of Zelda always had a beautiful color palette don't jinx it's removal!" so I should move on.
Confirmation of continuing sony handheld market- Now this one isn't something I would orgasm at but just be in awe of how Sony could even imagine the possibility of a new handheld after the vita flop. It's starting to look like nintendo and smartphones will soon be the only big handhelds in the market. Again doubt this'll happen and even if it does happen it won't be a reveal just a comment saying "It MIGHT happen".
Doshin the giant sequal/remake- See now this is a game that will most likely never see the light of day again, even Spyro the dragon has a higher chance then this. The only reason I even think it has a slight chance is all these gamecube game remakes making it to the scene but even then it's still behind games like Mario sunshine and Metroid Prime.
Release date of the CONSUMER oculus rift- This will be suprising for two reasons. One because of the zenimax lawsuit and two because Oculus doesn't seem to want to give up the dev kits for a while. Even though I'm not crazy about the whole VR thing I really wish the consumer model comes before the Morpheus for the sole reason that I supported it back in 2012 and Morpheus was announced like what a couple of months ago?
Retro's new game is Yarn Yoishi- What?! When I think about it makes sense announced a Year ago but had no news about it because they were busy working on Donkey Kong. They've had experience with platformers and both Donkey Kong and Yoishi are series' that are still a bit rusty compared to the original(s). If someone could do it retro is the one. It would be astonishing for the sole reason of not being metroid and be the biggest unintended troll in video game history.
Literallly any old Ip's from sega other than Sonic- This one I hope for the most. Why you ask? Because Sega made some really good games back then and now all of them look dead. Nights, Dragon Force, Phantasy Star, Skies of Arcadia, Toe jam and earl and the obvious one Shenmue are all great games. I even made a whole thread about how I wanted 2D beat 'em ups like Altered beast, Golden axe, and Streets of rage to make a return. Remember when Sega said atlus can take some of the old Ip's? Hopefully Atlus will listen to my cries but again I doubt it.
What do you think?
Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.
