They should have a bundle without the WiiMote/Wheel as we saw in Europe for $300 or $275. But I'm sure the bundle that is now $330 will come down in price by Christmas, and I think it will still sell well because of the free game you get in addition to MK8.

$330 is price for mega bundle, standard Premum bundle costs $299.
For just 30$ more you get Wii Remote Plus and Wheel.

That, and $299 price for standard Mario Kart bundle is very good price, you get 1 extra game for free, beside Mario Kart.

It may be a supply constraint issue. They're basically giving retailers leeway to charge an extra $10 if they have issues keeping the bundle in stock.
