A number of reddit users have reported being able to walk into Sears stores located in the United States, pick up Mario Kart 8, and walk out.

The image above is from one reddit user who responded to PSA. The user who shared his experiences also reported getting $30 back from their points program which, quite frankly, makes this the best Mario Kart 8 purchasing deal.

I'd instantly buy it if I lived near a Sears.

I was hoping it would be a $30 gift card or something, but that would be insane. I might cancel my Best Buy preorder and take a trip to Sears if I can get $30 in points though.

It is a great deal, but my Sears is a wasteland for games. I think they still have stock from years ago with last generation titles collecting dust. I doubt they've had a new game stocked for two years.
