Nsmbu, it is the best looking in its hd glory, has off tv play, gamepad features, Luigi u and poses much more of a challenge.

Either NSMB or NSMBWii...
NSMB2 isn't bad by any means...
NSMBU and NSL came too soon and I felt like I was finished with them by the time I finished World 5...
Every level after that was a chore...
Tropical Freeze and SM3DW, on the other hand, are fantastic...

The original when the style and concept was at its freashest. They should have tried for something new afterwards like how they did originally with Mario 3, and World.

Well, the result appears rather decisive; New Super Mario Bros U by a landslide.

And wow at the lack of votes (just 2.7%) for NSMB2, I didn't realize it was so unloved compared to its brethren. 

NSMBU; it has the best levels, I loved the world map, and it feels like a true successor to SMW.

NSMB2 is definitely the worst of the lot. Even though NSMB's overrated presence bothers me still.

I would say NSMBWii is the best. I haven't played NSMBU, however.

The fist one. It just felt more fast-paced than NSMBW and NSMBU (Haven't played NSMB2)

I voted for NSMB. NSMBU was the better game, but it loses points for franchise fatigue. The fact that level design was fresh and interesting, despite this, is a testament to it's quality.

NSMB U is the best one, but it came out on the wrong time and on the wrong platform. It should have come out for the Wii.

As much as I love having the game in HD, I agree with you.
