It's still for me the best multiplayer title ever made. I'd even take a 3DS version over nothing at all. But why aren't Nintendo pursuing the game more? FIFA is clearly pretty much the biggest game in Europe this year. Nintendo make a far better game for multiplayer and Strikers Charged did a damn good job of shifting copies early in the Wii's life. Next level games are pretty quiet right now. I really hope they're making a HD Strikers game! That would pretty much make my year!

The game isn't even out and you haven't tried the battle mode yet...

Um, Mario Kart Wii which I refer to, came out several years ago ;) II just stated that from what I've heard about the Wii U version, that is going to be the same.

I think you're onto something. Strikers Charged is the 45th best-selling Wii game of all time, outselling hits like Deca Sports, Skylanders Giants, Reisdent Evil 4, Monster Hunter Tri, and even other Nintendo games like Mario SPorts Mix, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Metroid Prime 3. Next Level Games should have started work on this early last year!

I hope I'm wrong with Mario Kart U for the battle mode. I don't doubt it's going to be an awesome game (my pre order has already been charged!) but I don't see it being the offline piss up multiplayer party game it should be. However a new Mario Strikers could be. Hence the thread. I can't get over how much I felt like it was 2007 again last night when we booted it up on the Wii U because the PS4 pads were dead.

Who knows? Wii was pretty much a total sell out in the time it came out. However it did shift well over a million units.

I never knew that a game like that would move more units than Mario Kart even in one region. That's just crazy!
