True. While Mike Smalling has shown a ton of improvement, Blind isn't a long term solution at CB. Certainly not against teams with big strikers. I do hope Phil Jones or Paddy McNair get another shot at it.

Indeed, I'd like to see Man U get back to regularity with it's defence, it was a mess last year, too much rotation. They won the leagues confortably when they had Vidic and Ferdinand near week in week out.

This said, they really need a strong striker, who isn't Rooney, he's not that position anymore. And rumours like this aren't helping:

Mane is good but he's not Man U good. Man U have these players already, they need a goal scorer, one that can match Van persies record and get them the prem title.

Just rumors for now. There's another crazy rumor about offering 85 million euros for Mueller. Will wait and see.

Not the best results from Saints but it'll do, we dominated just couldn't score. We'll get it in the second leg.
