EURO qualifiers this weekend. Even though we're playing Albania and I wished I could say it was gonna be an easy match, I distrust Portugal's team quality so much that I don't really expect any kind of good result against them (or anyone in our group to be honest).

Sometimes I really wonder if it isn't for the best for Portugal to miss an Euro/WC in the qualifying round. It would give our decision-makers in the FPF something to really think about in how poor our team player's choices have been since Paulo Bento took over and the overall lack of Portuguese players with proven quality.

That's a silly question, it's like saying 'Why do MS bother doing a web browser?' or 'Why does England have a football team?' I ;m it's not like they are ever going to win anything.

I really don't care who England are playing. I just got back into the season and it stops because of international football. And this isn't anything to do with how crap England are recently. I want to watch football.

... on England though, something is wrong but it's not the manager, it's the players and FA. Whatever passion once existed isn't there and they have got to stop automatically picking players from the Premier Leagues big teams and only them.

Callum Chambers got a call up as soon as he moved to Arsenal. That half a great season he had with Southampton wasn't enough but 2 games with Arsenal was. Caulker, a strong, experienced CB doesn't becuase he's not playing for a big team. Nathaniel Clyne is better than any other England right back in the league at the moment as well, he won't get a call up though will he.

Yes, but England's team at least goes to World Cups and Europeans Championships... :S

I was rooting for Romania for the world cup play-offs. Sadly we know the result now. I got a little revenge when we sent them home during the world cup!

 Hagi is one of the first (and best) players I remember seeing from USA 94. The game againts Argentina was superb!

Sadly, times have changed.. Romania's problem is not necessarily the squad ( we have many talented players like Alex Maxim, Stefan Radu, Vlad Chiriches, Alex Chipciu, etc..), but the coach, Piturca, is the main issue here! He wants the Romania to play very defensively ( even when is not needed at all) and some of the players he calls are absolute garbage! The worst part is that the good players are substitues and sometimes they don't even get to play a single minute! :S
