How does it seem to you (English soccer fans) when you watch a team, English in this case, play with a player like Fernando?
He's a defensive midfielder, his primary purpose is to destroy the opponents plays, recover the ball and aid the defenders. If the team is balanced forward he can join up to help if he's skilled enough.

This is the reason why he's even called up for the national team in the first place. He's actually pretty good at Zenit - probably because he's mostly free from really tough games at a club like this, but still...

Yeah.. I guess it's not that hard to stand out in a club like Zenit! Only if he could play the same with the national team!
