Spain winning it four years ago was a fluke also.

I know you from the NFL threads. You have no idea about sports. Your reasoning always came down to "Team X will beat the Dallas Cowboys because I don't like the Cowboys." - You also had the nerve to doubt the Cowboys rule.

Well we don't have to worry about the Cowboys this year they will suck again especially with Sean Lee being out for the entire season and having a much tougher schedule.  You make think that I have no idea about sports but I know two thinks for certain the Cowboys are going to suck big time and the Spurs will repeat.

Yahoo Sports just started their first power rankings for the NFL a couple of days ago and the have the Cowboys ranked 24th out of 32 teams.  Sounds about right to me as I said before they are going to suck big time.

AFC South is definitely easier than NFC North. NFC West is only slightly stronger AFC West. Saints + Seahawks in 2013 was a stronger combo than Saints + Bears in 2014. So in the sum that's a much tougher schedule for you? Also, the Cowboys still have a good offense, so instead of sucking big time, they'll likely hover around their now usual 8-8 season. Their defense can't really get much worse than last year's.

So who will win the World Cup?

Have to go with German I can't go against my motherland.

It really is sad. The Dutch who have had so many brilliant teams and players don't have a World Cup but some minor country does

We cri evrytiem :(

In all fairness Netherlands shouldve won on 1974 but the fault for not winning is entirely on the players. Its well documented that they went to party and celebrating like if they ahd won the world cup before the final match took place, wich evidently didnt do them any good. The team was vastly superior to any other team that World Cup, if they had kept theyre head in the game the whole way Netherlands would have 1 star. In 1978 the team was good but wasnt that good anymore and 2010 Spain was the better team.

Ps: wth does the Dallas Cowboys power rankings have to do with the Wold Cup ?

I was rooting for the Netherlands to win the world cup, even though they beat us in quaterfinnals :( I wanted Robben to win the world cup, he is being the best player of the tournament by a big mile.
I hope he gets the golden boot.

As for tomorrow... If this world cup taught me something is to never give anything by certain... Anyone can win.

The team that paid huge money for David "Side show Bob" Luiz must want a refund. Side show Bob played another shocking match against Holland, almost as bad as his efforts against Germany. Holland won 3-0 but should have won by more goals. Silva was dead lucky to get off red card, last man and dragging Robben off the ball inside the penalty box. 3 minutes in and a man down would have made it a more open match.

Calm down the team was in shambles, it was very badly prepared, Scolari wasnt realy training the team properly, the tatics implemented were archaic and terrible, there was no protection for the defense, there was no help from the ofensive players when defending, Brazilian midfield was a baren wasteland and there were many many other mistakes. Lets not crucify players for what was a massive display of incopetence by the coaching team. If the team that had entered the field to play Germany was 1970s Brazil (wich is widely considered the best side ever to win a world cup) playing with the tatics Brazil played, it would still have been at least 5x1 Germany.

And the Netherlands game is just a follow up to what ahppened versus Germany, no team in the planet would ever manage to recover from a 7x1 loss in theyre home country on a World cup semi final and play remotely well in less than 1 week.
