Silva would not save Brazil, but he would manage to give them dignity in loss. I even believe in a 3-0 or 3-1.

Its is Germany we are talking about, they don't even play aiming such an advantage on the score board, they aim only the victory most of the time.

Neymar and Silva would have only slowed the bleeding by a bit. Germany were going to body Brazil regardless.

Like any true, self-respecting, red-blooded, hyphen-loving american, I hate soccer and believe that we should nuke the world strongholds of the suck that is that sport for the good of humanity, however, I must admit I am disappointed that I missed this 7-1 debacle.

Shut down Messi, deny him ball, hit on counter attack, Van Persie injury could be blessing and force Holland to adopt a defensive game plan to stifle Argentina. Strong defensive teams win World Cups. Argentina have struggled with narrow wins against Nigeria, Switzerland and Iran. Argentina just like Brazil struggle to make it to Semi Final. Holland and Germany have been the two form teams of the World Cup with impressive victories.
