"His job is not to attack" False. His primary role is to help his teammates in defensive duties. That doesn't mean that he must suck at attacking (like he did), and by attacking I don't mean scoring. Sorry but you need to sit down and read over your post as you're coming across as someone with no clue in how football strategies, player roles, positions and all work and that's not me being harsh either, you edit further highlights this. The majority of defensive midfielders are not good at attacking it's not their primary job, their role is to provide cover and hold the midfield together, this comes before attacking otherwise the defence would be under constant pressure. Their contribution to attacking is mainly to release the ball to more attack minded players like Zidane etc... this is how it's always been, if the French manager put on defensive players against Greece then that's down to him not the players, that's what managing is all about. Want an example of a player like Makelele right now, look at Mascherano holding the Argentinian midfield and releasing the ball to Messi.

Stop avoiding the question, I don't want an example of a current player like Makelele, I want to know if you believe that a modern team needs a player like Makelele in it's starting 11 to be sucessful, say yes or no.

If the French coach messed up, why I must consider it as Greece's merit?

This is funny, because the lack of a Ronaldo in the team is exactly why they are struggling and why (I think) they will drop out.

They have no bite up front. They have no Pele, Ronaldo or Romario. The lack of Neymar makes it even worse for them.

I know, striker is their problem at the moment. 

I still think they will pull out a result infront of the home support.

Brazil may look unconvincing. But when has Germany looked good? besides against a 10 man portugal?

Ghana exposed them and everyone seems to have forgotten that. 1 goal against the US?  extra time vs Algeria? 

I think Germany is way to confident heading into this match, they always struggle against the big names and it will show again today.

I think Germany will win 1:0, but since I picked Brasil to win it in the first place, I'm gonna stick to it, despite poor Neymar.
