Did we watch the same game? If Germany had been efficient the game would've ended 4:0.
To me it was a good game. Germany dominated from the start except for a few short moments for the French. The defense was so strong, I never worried about the Victory.

This game exemplifies why Germany is always a contender for a WC win. It might have not been a pretty game, but it was 100% efficiency. Even if that efficiency wasn't shown on the amount of goals scored, there's a ton of ways to control a match effectively as well.
Germany knew how to time the game, how to drown most of France's attacks and how to play with the goal advantage.

Boring game for the most part. Both deserved more goals, great goalkeepers! What i loved about Germany (even though i hate them, lol) is that they never went into full defense after scoring, instead they kept on attacking. France did a great job in the second half. Congrats to both!
Very boring game, But a win is a win.
If the German's don't put 4 center backs anymore in the future they have a decent chance.
But if they go back to 4 center backs you will see a repeat of the Ghana game vs Brazil if they make it.

The vision forgot Robben's dive in the 72nd minute. So it's obviously 1-2.
