That seems a bit generous to me. He did it before and got a 10 match ban for the second instance. Doing it a third time in the biggest event in the world where everyone's watching and, well, let's say I won't be surprised if he doesn't play at all next season.

Both have been good enough over the last 2 Years. Lampard not as much recently.

You saw glimpses of our future midfield in this tournament though, with Wilshere, Barkley, Henderson and so on.



England needs another Beckham and another Owen, and could use another Campbell. As for Lampard and Gerrard, they are nowhere near what they used to be 4 years ago.

Well, the big thing to me is he should not play the rest of this tournament.  Beyond that the number of games is open to interpretation.  If you suspend him for 15 or 20 I am not sure if would be getting to Copa America or 2018 Qualifying or not.  I think FIFA needs to at the ery least make some sort of statement about this kind of behavior which is habitual now from Suarez.
