Neither did Iran though .
And speaking of Iran, they were not robbed anything. That wasn't a penalty
Balls don't just change directions and increase speed like that without being touched first.
Granted, the ref never had slow motion to make the call and it was a 50/50 call from his point of view, nevertheless it wasn't a penalty so his lucky guess was in fact correct.

I assume both of you are from England. I don't remember England being better than Italy at all. They had the ball more but couldn't do anything real with it.

Well, erm...the statistics sorta talk for themselves. Better possesion, more shots, more on target...just the goals which were lacking, and some bad luck as well.
Eh, it is what it is now. I'm proud of the performance and am much more pleased than 4 years ago, even if we're gone a round earlier.
