I disagree. You need only watch their performance against England and against CR. Sure Uruguay had Suarez, but Italy have no excuse. Their quality were so much lower (look at all the offsides).

European teams wilt in the heat. It would be perfect if Italy get beat by Uruguay and ensures both Italy and England are going back home.

Amazing performance by Costa Rice. Huge respect for this result.

That's the real surprise of this WC (instead of Spain losing to Netherlands and Chile for example).

Bigger result than USA beating Ghana and a bigger result than Costa Rica beating Uruguay. Costa Rica should make light work of a mediocre team like England. Take the opposition lightly and you will get punished. Uruguay and Italy both went into their game against Costa Rica believing it is only Costa Rica, we show up, we win.
