Both teams have a lot of problems in the final third.

Better game than the Iran/ Nigeria shambles, but nothing very impressive.

Interesting.. The dutch commentator talked about the lack of competitive games for Team USA.. Other teams always play games (tournament/ qualifying) for like the World Cup, European Cup, Coppa America or African Cup of Nations.. Making it more difficult for the USA to reach the next level..

Not much of a fan but I like to watch the world cup matches a lot!

Well, let me tell you that everybody thought that this might be Messi's best WC... THOUGHT! >:)

Well, let me tell you that this probably is his best WC...

I still stick to my guns and predict Brasil to win it all. Netherlands were dangerous, but it's way too early, they still have too many opportunities to mess it all up. I'm also very interested in what Belgium shows us. Still, European teams always play shit outside of Europe. Lat WC was the first ever held outside of Europe that a European team won.

The worst thing I see is that there are almost no good strikers present at the tournament. Nearly every single good striker isn't there or isn't really there.

Lewandowski, Ibrahimović, Falcao, Costa (he's just a tourist), Suarez (still isn't capable of playing, the team is using a smoke screen telling us that he's "almost there"). All absent or incapable of playing anything worth watching. The only ones present are Van Persie and Agüero. Such a crisis at this spot :(

Cavani is easily as good as the ones you listed. Benzema and Balotelli too probably. And then there is the lower, but still very good, tier: Klose, Ibisevic, Dzeko, Drogba, Lukaku, Higuain.

No way man, no way. They guys you listed are clearly inferior and every one would be benched by any single one from my list. Cavani was good before he went to France, Balotelli is too stupid and irresponsible, Benzema never really reached his full potential. The rest of these guys don't even hold a candle to the top guys, some of them don't even play.

The striker position is at a crisis here, which is a pity, as I've always enjoyed guys like Van Nistelrooy - vultures of the penalty area ;)

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I look forward to Duane Holmes joining up with this USA team for the 2018 WC.

The worst thing that happened to this match was that quick US goal. I seriously believed they were much better than this "park the bus" against Ghana. I was hoping for an open match with lots of running, predicted 3-2.
If they both play like this the next two games, they stand no chance. I did speak to soon about Portugal's doom, it seems.

Ghana score!

Now I need them both to score another goal each.

About damn time.... Well deserved....I still don't understand what USA was going for this entire match...

My non-expert eyes are telling me the US sucks.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! GO USA!

USA back in front.

Come on Ghana. One goal.
