Dembélé contract leaked:

  • €12m salary (5 times the amount he got at Dortmund)

For real? Dortmund had him on the cheap then! Like, seriously cheap!

Well he was an unproven kid to be fair

They signed him when they were 19 and he hasn't even played 40 games for them. €2.4mil a year for someone who hasn't even played 30 games for Rennes doesn't sound cheap to me.

Everton doing absolutely shit huh? I guess we at least know who will probably be the coach of the Dutch national team after the World Cup.....

Losing to Chelsea, Spurs and Man U isn't the worst thing in the world, but the way in which they've been beaten has been horrific. Losing to Bounremouth now, at home, after spending so much money on new players and big contracts?

If this result lasts I can't see him lasting until October.

Manchester City kicking ass again, admittedly against a weaker team.

Everton turn it around and lead 2-1

Manchester City and Chelsea running wild. Manchester United struggling.

the gap between the top 6 PL teams and the rest seems significantly bigger this year. Multiple batterings every week

Great day for City. Would have been nice if Southampton had snatched a late equaliser or something. But we're still top on something other than the alphabet now so

All these blowouts, teams might aswell just forfeit and take the 3-0 loss!

Is that even a thing in real life? I know 3-0 forfeits happen in the FIFA games but... in reality?

Although even if that was an option... the amount they'd lose from match day revenues would probably mean they'd be better off just taking the beating

It is a real rule, so it's probably what EA based it on. But I'm not entirely sure if the European leagues actually adopted it.

From FIFA's website, "If, through the fault of a participating member association, a match cannot take place or be played in its entirety, the FIFA Organising Committee shall declare that the match be forfeited (awarding victory and the resultant three points to the opposing team as well as the score of 3-0, or greater."

Okay, so whenever I say a team is shit they clearly always turn it around. Anyone need their team jinxed in a positive way?
