Funny how nobody ran to Toure when he made the last penalty and ran like a hero over the field while every other teammate was running to Willy.. 2 were running towards Toure but changed their mind to celebrate the real Hero.

Lol. Toure was too tense.

Today is a good day to watch Arsenal stumble

So predictable

Those results couldn't have gone any better for Leicester. They may not need to play beat everyone, just make sure they play better than the people below them. Come on Leicester, you can do it.

Hmm, pie.

Don't forget the business side of things, Man U, for example, is £380m in debt. Arsenal isn't.

Where did that debt come from though? IIRC it was the Glazer's debt and technically nothing to do with the club.

Besides, didn't it used to be like £600m a couple years ago? If they've reduced it that much then they can't be doing that bad...

Hmmm. I can't pretend that I know a lot about the subject. All I am trying to say is that Arsenal is not doing bad under Wenger imo. Consistent good results with a selection of inexpensive unproven young talents. Staying in the top 4 ensures the possibility of spending the right money on the right players.

Arsenal oweners are playing it safe and it's working. A much better bussiness model than that of Liverpool's, spending all that money on unproven young players and no good results in return.

Arsenal hasn't had big stars in their team until Ozil and Sanchez. You could argue that they should be winning now but not before that, unless you go back to the time when they had Henry and Dennis Bergkamp. In between, expectations weren't as high. Finishing in the top 4 was great giving the extremely young talent he had to work with. Imo, Arsenal needs a better striker to do better in all competitions.

they didnt have any talent because they refused to buy. they could have opted to buy big stars after they reached the 2006 CL Final, Arsenal were a big team then. but it was wengers decision to focus on young players, its fantastic how people claim he is a great coach, when his decisions and managment dragged down expectations from winning major trophies, to being happy finishing at 4th.

He is doing the job he is asked to do. I didn't say he is a fantastic coach. I said he did great in the past few years given the selection of players he had. He is no Alex Ferg for sure, who was a much better at managing and introducing young talents, but he is not garbage.

Expecations are set, expectations are met, Wenger remains. When he starts spending more and continue to not win trophies, he will be sacked.

Its been 12 years.. And in those 12 years they are always comfortably top 4 yet never actually have a chance to be number one.. Even Liverpool has been closer to the title in those 12 years.. You are asking too much for a normal Arsenal fan who pays a lot for their season tickets..

Saints have to win tomorrow's game to make sure we keep up with the others around us, a loss against Chelsea is fine but Bournemouth? Local derby? Not great. Need to get back to winning form, although we do have a few injuries at the moment.

Hmm, pie.

Aren't Arsenal season tickets the most expensive in the whole country, maybe even the whole of Europe? Yeah, bit of a rip off considering the lack of success.

Kind of old but still:

In other words (in terms of Season tickets), Welcome to London.

(I'm mainly looking at West Ham)

Hmm, pie.
