Where did that debt come from though? IIRC it was the Glazer's debt and technically nothing to do with the club.

Hmmm. I can't pretend that I know a lot about the subject. All I am trying to say is that Arsenal is not doing bad under Wenger imo. Consistent good results with a selection of inexpensive unproven young talents. Staying in the top 4 ensures the possibility of spending the right money on the right players. 

Arsenal oweners are playing it safe and it's working. A much better bussiness model than that of Liverpool's, spending all that money on unproven young players and no good results in return.
