Hope they don't sack Mourinho.

Fully agree, I hope Chelsea keeps losing :p

I like this Mourinho

This is one of the biggest meltdowns I've seen any league holder experience, I'm more convinced on my earlier thoughts on Mourinho being more of a short term impact manager.

I'm more convinced that players are setting him up for failure. Mourinho is still a more capable coach than any of PL managers.

Its certainly looking that way.

Its pretty easy to see that the drop in effort on the pitch isnt Mourinho's fault. This is essentially the same team that steamrolled the league 12 Months ago. Something changed in the dressing room, something made the players not want to play for him.

If (big if) he lasts there until January, I wouldnt at all be surprised to see huge changes at the club in the transfer window.

That proves my point, a short term impact Manager, he's capable but only in the short term, it's nothing against him but that's just how some Managers are. Someone whose more suited to the long term would have dealt with this more effectively or not find themselves in this situation at all, look at the reigns of Sir Alex, Sir Bobby Robson or Brian Clough, the second players began cocking up consistently they were put back in line or burnt off the team sheet and replaced.

Maybe they all got dissapointed in Mourinho how he handeled that Eva The Doctor thing.. He might have lost all respect from the Squad then

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Exactly. Why is it on the players?

He is an unpleasant person on the long run. Just look how much trouble he caused in RM before he left. He took it further and fired shots at Ronaldo after he signed for Chelsea.

He is not easy to love, always bad mouthing the competition, bad mouthing other coaches, causing unnecessary drama, blaming referees even when his team doesn't do the bare minimum to win anyone's sympathy.

Has anyone forgot how he put his finger in Tito's eyeball? How he tried to kick someone's face?

I don't get Mourinho's sympathizers, it's not like he is the only successful manager out there. He is a nasty person and his team players get sick of his personality on the long run.

How am I sympathizing with him? Many great managers in history aren't good people SAF hit Beckham with a boot FFS and has had clashes with a number of players, Brian Clough was notoriously antagonistic, Aragones was a racist etc... All of these guys had situations rise up that they neutralized quickly, Mourinho doesn't seem to be able to do the same because his approach is more of a short term impact option.

This isn't showing him sympathy it's criticizing him get that right.
