Exactly! I just could not get into HR, I tried and tried, but I just got agitated more and more. So I expected the same from BTS, I borrowed it from a friend just to say I tried, just to put a checkmark next to it, and ended up loving it, one of my favorite games... The little tweaks to controls helped, but I really got immersed into the story...

I wouldn't say I don't like it, but I just can't get into Shantae. Something about it doesn't grab me. At a guess, it might be too... horizontal.

I tried Clash of Clans a few weeks ago, expecting to play for a few hours, get bored, and drop it. I haven't dropped it yet. I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected to.

Thought i would like but didnt: beyond two souls
Thought i would dislike because of complexity but ended up spending 100+ hrs on it :hearts of iron 3

Thought I'd love Bioshock Infinite because the other Bioshocks were amazing but I ended up being disappointed.
Thought I'd hate FFXIII and Demon's Souls but I ended up loving them.

I thought I would like Killzone 2, being quite the fan of FPS games but overall I found the game to be rather boring. I did finish it though, it was my only PS3 game at the time.

I didn't think I would like Mario & Luigi: Dream Team as much as the other games, but actually it's my favourite game since Superstar Saga.

Oh also, Mega Man 5, the worst of the classic series, I acutally don't find so bad other than that it's pretty easy overall, on the flip side I didn't like Mega Man 3 too much.

Thought I would dislike Metal Gear Solid 4. Was never crazy about the first one when I played it in the PS years. Now, MGS4 remains my favorite game of all time. And I went back and played MGS1 right after MGS4 then and loved that too ha.

Thought I'd love Fallout 3, seemed like a cool concept the way my friend described it to me but I never got through the game. Just something about it...

Thought I'd hate Call of Duty 4, picked it up one day on sale for my PS3 (this was back when it was the most recent game in the franchise) and ended up loving it and reviving my love for FPSs.

I thought I would love SSB Brawl, and in the end it was probably the biggest disappointment ever for me second only to BK: Nuts & Bolts.

I thought I wouldn't like Fallout 3 after seeing some early previews of it, but a friends let me borrow his copy, and I became instantly addicted to it and similar games like New Vegas and Skyrim.

Blue Dragon, I thought I was going to LOVE the game... didn't happen.

Didn't Like : Fable series, COD MW2, Halo Reach, Darksiders series.

Did Like : Resistance 2, Assassins Creed 2,, Beyond TS, Borderlands 2.
