I'm gonna be the oddball here, and say that I have a sneaking suspecion, call it a feeling, that among other things, Nintendo is going to unveil some surprise (perhaps even a pretty big surprise) third party exclusive, that is not Sonic or Lego related. Something more along the surprise level of, say, Bayonetta, as in "never thought we'd see that happen" territory. Don't hold me to that. But Nintendo knows the kind of shit they need to do to come clawing back, and that's right up there: securing some important third party games, since third parties aren't exactly volunteering them.

So call me crazy, but I think we may just see another third party exclusive surprise. Whatever it might be (if it happens), I sure hope it's something I'm interested in!

I wish some of what you say would happen. ESPECIALLY "true SF64 successor". SO MUCH WANT.Same wiht SSB Wii U exclusive (and GOOD, HUGE) story mode.

I pretty much am on board with ya, except for "Pokken", I just think the name sounds fuckin' ridiculous, and the concept doesn't really entice me all that much. I'd rather see some kind of Pokemon MMO, and I'm not even a Pokemon fan really. I just know such a thing would light the gaming world on fire.

Also, about that Metroid "Anything" bit. That's a very dangerous "anything", mainly because my overactive imagination can think of a lot of horrible things it could be. Like Other M 2, for example *shudders*. I'd be OKAY with a MP4, even if it's not really want I want to see from Metroid OR from Retro (I'm still hoping that they're working on a new franchise). But my DREAM, is that they'd unveil an HD Super Metroid sequel. "Metroid 5", I guess. 2D, hand-drawn, sprite based, HD, gorgeous, epic, REAL unadulterated Metroid. I liked the Prime games. But it's high time we got some REAL Metroid again...and while Fusion (4) was okay, we can get a lot better than that.....
