Nintendo gives a release " window" for a game they will feature

Nintendo will reveal 2 new IPs that will have very wide appeal in the west. The first one will be a first person shooter (In the vein of Halo, Titanfall, COD, Destiny), the second will be a third person action-adventure game (Think Assassin's creed, Uncharted, The Order). Both IPs will have very "mature" atmospheres and be completely different from anything Nintendo has done before. Both of the trailers for these games will blow people away, and Wii U will have mountains of hype until these games release Winter 2014/Spring 2015.

After these games release, people will finally stop perceiving the Nintendo Brand as "childish". Nintendo will continue to release a combination of classic Nintendo franchises and new mature IPs. Slowly but surely, the path that Nintendo has been walking gets corrected, all building up to the release of their next console several years down the road. Their next console will be a huge success, in-part due the new public image Nintendo has gained.

Short-term and Long-term MEGATON.

-MarioPaintball.
-A new Nintendo IP that is weird but people love and the mainstream goes crazy over.
-Last Story 2.
-3DS successor or redesign.
-STEAM is for said handheld, and is a unique FPS.

dont really have any megaton predictions but i believe it will be MS that will have it some kind of exclusive or timed exclusive deal, so for MS fans e3 is a good time of year i believe something will be announced similar to what happened with FF and gta 4 but with so little 3rd party exclusives left now the list is really narrowing down

if not that then they will announce there own exclusive or bring a older series back to life

a megaton for me would be gta5 on ps4 this year since i havent played it yet or a new TPS or FPS PS4 exclusive that can go toe to toe with MS gears and halo so im not really asking for much

mm another play/create/share game whether its lbp or goes by another name, not just 2d side-scroller, but options for 2d,3d/open world ect,and even though it doesn't freak me out as much as others,if I had a choice,get rid of the floatyness in the jumping/landing mechanics

I would love that, FF is garbage and has been for what, a decade or so? Making it XBO exclusive might be enough to push it over the edge to it's well deserved grave.

Square made amazing RPGs once upon a time. FF 1 through 7 were some of the best games ever made, bar none. And 9 was fairly decent as well, though I was already tired of the change to partial 3d painted on worlds before the end of 7.

But since then? Yeeeesh. I have zero confidence that it will be any good.

But yes, I guess 'calamity' is a good word for it. Either competent people should make it, or it should be left in the dustbin of history.
