Damn, I thought this thread was about MKs' resolution, guess I was wrong. How dare I mention that it's kinda funny how people dismiss this with a "who even cares"-attitude, when just a couple ago weeks it was so awesome that the game is 1080p.

And people were mislead sure, but some people in that thread, pointed out how unlikely the article was right and were largely ignored, so it's not like there wasn't any way for them to know that the whole 1080p rumor was not true, they just turned a blind eye on the sources indicating 720p.

I suffered through the latter half of last gen with all that 720p and no AA shit. That eye cancer will stick. And now it's supposedly next gen and I'm still stuck with this shit.


to be fair Wii U is closer to last gen consoles (ps360)

I don't know man, I haven't seen a Kart racer looking this good at 60FPS on consoles at 720p yet, I mean, I don't know what the fuck Rare or Media Molecule are doing these days, but they sure haven't topped MK8 yet on awesomeness. Hell, they never even topped MKWii on actual gameplay on duct taped Gamecubes, so I don't know if graphics is really the key thing, then again, I actually do play a lot of games that are spread across different platforms, so maybe I just don't see games the same way as a company focused person.

You haven't seen the screens they've been releasing of this game have you, I'd be more surprised if they said there was AA!
