Two amazing choices. Super Mario 3 if you never played it or you would rather have a game that you can pick up at your leasure and play off and on.

Devil Survivor Overclocked if you want a fairly chalenging jrpg. For this you will definitely be dedicating more time.

I've beaten Mario 3 literally dozens of times, starting when it launched (well, when shipments finally arrived in local stores: those were the days...). The fact that it's still on my list tells you how much I love it anyways: Castlevania, Mega Man II, and Super C all got cut because I have played them endlessly, but don't love them anywhere near as much. Still, if the people say buy it again, then who am I to disagree?

Mario 3 if you haven't played it (I would personally prefer it on Wii/Wii U but if this is your only way to play it, go for it)

Second choice would be one of the SMT games...
