But, but... People on this forum had me convinced that nobody knows about the price drop. Because apparently most potential console buyers have no internet and do no research at all.
So I expect that those forum members will call BS on this report, because there's no chance people will know about it until the price actually changes...

People are not reading this correctly.

The statement indicates that there is a large uptick in general interest based off the preorders, but that actual sales of X1 are INCREASED right now, due to the same heightened interest. This would conflict with VGC numbers for the console.

That said, I agree with others its pretty meaningless without any tangible numbers.

id agree normally based on the wording but he specifically says "reservation program and feedback from power up rewards members". Not that x1 is selling more units now.
