I expect more info on Smash, Bayonetta, "X," Fire Emblem, and Yoshi, plus new announcements involving Zelda and Animal Crossing. Those, coupled with the bullets Nintendo still has in it's magazine, i.e., Metroid, NFC, Star Fox, Wii Sports, etc., should be enough to claim the blue ribbon.


depends on what you define winning as. if its what games appealed to you, than thats something only you can decide. but if its about winning mindshare and generating hype, then Sony certainly won by a land slide last year.

depends on what you define winning as. if its what games appealed to you, than thats something only you can decide. but if its about winning mindshare and generating hype, then Sony certainly won by a land slide last year. 

And if it's about that then Nintendo is basically out of the competition already, sure Nintendo fans will be hyped as hell about Zelda and the rest of the stuff, but the press and the general gaming public will most likely ignore them again.

most likely yes. but if they do bring a couple of surprises then well, they might get some mind share. they need New IPs, another Zelda or mario wont cut it.

If Nintendo shows up with Zelda there is nothing the other guys can show that can beat Nintendo and if they spend some time on X their victory will be massive

Nobody can ignore Zelda U. Even the haters of haters can't. Zelda in HD running on Wii U hardward with the Gamepad or Game Pro. It's nothing the others can do.

while i understand Zelda is an important franchise, lets be realistic.

If Nintendo doesn't show a boring trailer of Zelda like they gave 3d world, I can see zelda stealing the show. Unless, some company has something out of this world.

If I may interject: You are being realistic here. Zelda U is a big game. Just like Halo is a big game. You don't just ignore something of this calibur.
